Dan Plowden Acoustic Trio
Sharing the bill with Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams Jr., Travis Tritt, Marshall Tucker Band, Bryan White, and most recently with NACA "Hall of Famer" Vince Gill, the Dan Plowden Band has quickly become a recognized name in the Southeastern college and regional touring scene.
The Acoustic Trio consists of Allen "Mudcat" Mullins (guitar/vocals), Philip Killough (keyboards/vocals) and singer/songwriter Dan Plowden (lead vocals, guitar, harmonica).
With over 15 original songs and a host of cover tunes, their unique blend of home-grown Southern Rock and Americana Country has developed a loyal following throughout the southeast offering perfect harmonies and plenty of crowd pleasing energy.
"There's something for everybody - country, hard rock, southern rock, mellow - some of it even borderlines on alternative," says Plowden.
Dan and the band are looking forward to their association with NACA and to performing at member schools.
